Some people get to worked up about rep.. I don't know whether this has been said and I can't be bothered to read it all. I personally think that rep shouldn't be touched unless you have posted in the report repuatation problems. Although to be fair Nick is only doing his job and sticking by the rules. The fact that no other vip editor has done it isn't Nicks fault, kk.

I haven't even bothered to read the whole thread, because I don't think I would get any valid points from it. So let me just make a few general statements.

1) STOP TALKING LIKE THIS

It doesn't make us want to listen to you. Really.


2) Stop making an all out attack on Nick. When you attack one of my coworkers, my claws come out. And you do not wanna see the claws! In all honesty, stop the personal attacks on Nick or further action will be taken. My job as Staff Editor is to make sure that Staff are held to the highest standard. But by the same token, since they can't be as free with their words as members are, I also protect them. You accuse Nick of bullying but instead take a whole thread to flame him and gang up on him...over reputation.

3) Make valid points instead of screaming at the top of your lungs. Mature posts would make me actually read this. Then I saw the types of posts, and I just skimmed through. I barely read anything.

4) Pointless rep, is, was, and always has been against the rules. Therefore, there is no premise to say that we "have" to warn you. If you wish, we can post an announcement about it. But since pointless rep has always been illegitimate, I see no basis to the claim of a "this day forward" type thing.

5) Habbox reserves the right to modify your account whenever we so wish. We try not to excersize this power, but if we feel audits are necessary (due to unfair reputation, for instance) we have the power to do it. We don't like to excersize that power much (for example, sierk could actually edit any of your accounts right now, mess up your settings, and change you signature, and be within the rules. Would he? No. We excersize the power rarely.

4) But before, you couldn't just go through our profiles and take it, we would have to report rep. That is why we wanted some warning atleast.

In regard to number one - the only reason I felt I had to type like that was because Nick wasn't reasing my posts, so I asked him to reply to the one I wrote and he said he couldn't find it. The large font was to make it more clear for him to see.

In regard to all the other points raised - I guess the 'customer' doesn't always come first then. One thing which makes the Administrators happy has raised many problems with members, but as long as you Admins are happy then it's all okay isn't it?

The problem is what you people class as pointless. If someone helped me on Habbo, like did a safe trade or something, repping someone on Habbox forum should ok. Maybe there should be places except threads where people can rep people, but provide a valid reason. I know HabboxForum has the rights to remove rep and what they are doing currently is perfectly right, however maybe there may be a way for both the people who had the positive reputation removed and the staff to be happy. However I feel that the people mentioned may have actual pointless rep, maybe HabboxForum can look into refining the rep system. Rep should not be able to be bought as it is also pointless.

downfall and doomsboy, i agree, basically you guys care more bout staff then members, imagine this: You have 50 mods 10 s mods, 3 admins and 2 owners (just an example), and due to your actions lets say all the vips/normal members leave, all thats left is the administration and staff, doesnt feel nice when the forum has to shut down does it?
