SSBB American Release DELAYED?

Gomme posted somewhere that he got an email from Amazon saying he'll get it in february aswell, and hes english as far as I know. I'll try and find the post.

Sorry to bump but this is adding more information and I didn't want to make a new thread.

HMV say Brawl is released 25/01/08
Woolworths say Brawl is released 08/02/08
Amazon say Brawl is released 01/02/08
Play.com say Brawl is released 25/01/08

They all seem quite unsure but they have to have got the dates from somewhere? Maybe the Euorpean release is sooner than we think? Also, before anyone says 'the dates above are for the Japan and American release', they're not. Japan release is 24/01/08, American is 10/02/09.

Which days of those are on fridays? we always get nintendo games on fridays.

and yea uts best to wait and not let it get rushed but there is a limit to what you can wait. like pokemon P+D. waiting a good 4-5 months after the us release and nothing was changed. so why did we wait? Any longer than june and ill be annoyed happy when i get it tho..

Because we get it the same time as Europe so it has to be translated into french, german etc although its not really a problem with things like SSBB as there isnt much text.
