You should be able to return to high pitched noises after your voice breaks.

Mine broke when I was about 12/13; but there is no set age for your voice breaking and no set limit.

It can be from the age of 11, and some people never breaking.

Yeah im 14 to. My voice is kind of croaky but its still not broken.

I can imagine being 40 and having a 10 year olds voice and all the youths burning my house and throwing rocks at me!

I hope this is even remotely helpful!

This growth is far more prominent in boys, causing the male voice to drop, sometimes abruptly but rarely "over night", about one octave, because the longer and thicker vocal folds have a lower fundamental frequency. Voices never "break." A typical 12-year old boy's larynx is larger, even before voice change, than an adult woman's. Occasionally, voice change is accompanied by unsteadiness of vocalization in the early stages of untrained voices. Most of the voice change happens during stage 4 of male puberty around the time of peak growth. However, it usually precedes the development of significant facial hair by several months to years.

I'm 15- and i'd say my voice is about 75% broken.
Sure- it's deeper... but i don't think it's quite as deep as it will be...
and i still have those annoying squeeky lapses!

    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.
