Yet sonys goal is to make up to a PS9(got it from Wiki and it has a picture of a "futureistic" PS9, can't find link atm.. will post when I do) ... so you never know... Microsoft was making Windows Vista before XP was out... so you never know what companies are doing...

And Neil, Everything your posting bout the PS3 being a more a PS2 but more powerfull, Yes, that is basicially correct. But the same goes for the 360.

Look at the differences between the xbox and the xbox360, and then the PS2 and the PS3, a lot of them are the same basic ideas, yet your saying the PS3 is a "more powerfull console" and the 360 is "something compleatly different"?

The case is the last thing they would be working on, first they need to get a decent amount of power out of the console before they start putting it together. Those pics are either old PS3 pics as someone said earlier or a fan attempt at a PS4.
