Full voice it's great, apart from when you fly in foreign countries and you can't understand their accent.

As above, start small. Starting in the small Cessna's etc. Get used to those, then start to get bigger and bigger. Then you will be faced with the challenge of learning all the programs such as the FMC.
And for sure, buy a joystick. Makes a HUGE difference.
I use an saitek av8r joystick, 4 two way toggle switches (for ignition, landing gear and flaps) £19.99 if you buy from www.flightstore.co.uk
P.s. I did have a Logitech attack 3 but it was a piece of crap.

Oooh, rivets, very nice.

I never started with Cessna's, I remember the days when I flew 747s into the ground![]()
That is very nice, flying in fog are we?

Haha, yeah i'm starting with the Cessna, working my way through the lessons.
i'm just wondering though, i've had it for a month... and to be honest - i've not made that much process, most of what is in this forum seems like gibberish to me,
how long did it take you to catch onto it lol..?
also, I notice that a lot of you fly different airlines... not the defaults on the game - how do I download the different airlines/themes, whatever you like to call them?
The different airlines are planes we download from websites. Like;
www.avsim.net
www.projectopensky.com
www.ifdg.net
I don't remember how it took me, but today I fly Airlines and use FMC. So yeah.
Nice, thanks :}
I just hope I make some progress soon, haha... hopefully, if I stick with it and be patient - I will
i'd rep you.. but as always, I have to spread >.<
