Yes, it's fine
No, it's unfair
TBH, I think having post counts reflecting posts in the 'Forum Games' section is kinda ridiculous. You're basically judged on any forum by your post count. If someone's got a low post count, someone tends to think they're not as important as someone who has a higher post count. Because of this, I think they shouldn't be included from the Forums Games, as someone with a high post count could have just posted a thousand times in the games section, therefore giving a false impression.
What about moving it to the spam section and having a redirect forum link (like the rules link on the main forum) that leads straight to it?

Wow.. and still no reply. This is ridiculous, a thread with a valid point and they don't take notice.
@padraig, I did not say that the forum games are pointless, I simply said they don't contribute anything of value to the forum and so should not increase post counts, same as spam.
Paste in the complaints section, Tom. Thats what I am going to do when my poll has finished. It is said you are guaranteed an answer there:S

Fact remains that there will be other places where these type of posts can be made such as welcome forum, achievements in the rs forum etc. In the end it might just be better to disable post count full stop if it causes all the fuss? Members will always find a place to post things to get post count quickly or might increase spam in discussion threads themselves. I think most people would rather have them stay in the games forum than go into discussions and post simply answers that don't help the thread/discussion.Originally Posted by Flyingjesus

Post count shouldn't be seen as a big deal, its simply a counter to show how much that member has posted, nothing more.

People take post count more than a 'counter', why don't you just disable it then you won't really have many complaints? You are not 100% guaranteed a response however we will try to respond to all of them where possible.

Apart from reputation
People are proud of their post counts, if we took that away then nobody would be happy, causing even more complaints. I always thought that the Forum Games section shouldn't have a Post Count as it is just people going "Let's play the 1,2,3 game". Where they are literally counting how many replies a thread has, which the forum does for you :S
I am for removing it, but then loads of people will complain, but I think tuff really, as it's been spammed for ages.
Maybe move all spam games to the spam forum?
