    I don't know, apparently it's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideomotor_effect happening. Not that I believe in "human phenomenon" anymore than dead people moving things around on an altered chess board.

    Exactly. People are just performing in that way because of the circumstancesm and because they want it to happen, so they become carried away with themselves believing it's true.

    The only reason the cup moves is because of subconscious movements, It's like when watching a football game sometimes you'll subconsciously move your foot as if you we're about the kick the ball.
    People think of whatever they want to come up and will subconsciously move the cup to what the we're thinking.
    So when the cup does move to what they thought they get scared when they moved the cup on their own without noticing.
