Graphics dont make a game imo. Just look at the past GTAs...crap graphics, amazing games.

They still make a game good.... back in the time of 2D gaming we wouldn'y have known any different, however now I love games that have good graphics and i hate games with rubbish ones. It really makes a game good if its as realistic as possible.

People hate games being realistic, it makes them way harder, GTA4 is gonna be more realistic, therefor a hell of a lot harder, the graphics don't need to look good for a game to be realistic, just the features in the game, having a rocket launcher on your back in plain view and not getting in trouble is unrealistic, Rockstar have made GTA4 so that if you do have it people can see and people will be alerted by that, which is realistic, graphics don't make realism in a game

Realism to a degree is pure bliss. Assassins creed for example , the blend function lets you blend into a crowd adding to its realism. If you push someone down they may get back up or alert someone else. I believe its rahter good :]

I don't mind with a game being realistic, it becomes a challenge that you have to over come, I'm glad GTA4 is going to be more realistic because GTA is one of the first games I knew would come this far, just alot of people complain a game gets too hard when they make it realistic
