I will be moving over to FSX at Christmas, on my new PC

Btw, people, FSX isn't all about GFX, Mostly CPU Usage

ye jaffa's right.I have FSX and its brilliant in my opinion. i have 1gb ram aswell and it runs fine. the missions in FSX mainly consist of performing airshows in Extra 300s or making emergency landings.
Others are like airline runs and tutorials. The graphics are good tho on FSX, so it depends.
I have the deluxe version which gives me more missions and planes and such.
But really, its up to you

my pc isn't that good, it only has 1gb ram, but i can fre up pretty much all space. I was attracted to this game purely by the graphics.

Thats quite sad.

FS2004 is better, unless you have a great GFX card, we're talking cards such as nVidia, ATI etc, and have good RAM (1GB+)

I have an SiS and my graphics is fine..

2004 = Faster on rubish computers
FSX = Better graphics

I have 04 and im satisfyed, or even just start on fs2002 which is £3 from woolworths - good to start on

If I had graphics like you id stop playing flight sim altogether. Its like going back to 93

Does that look normal? I've turned everything up to max in the display options, but still doesn't look as good as everyone elses... I hate the size of the cockpit too. I swear it wasn't that big when I used to play FS 95

Speedbrakes jsut make the plane slow down... not bring the tail down first???

I never had that happen to me, Try slowing down without the speed brake and see if you still do tail stikes. Anyway, you could of done a go around, I guess? Lol.

I was using freeware POSKY 757 Tom.

He asked what the VC message, not the model. What I can was about the Virtual Cockpit and you can get it off Avsim? Lol.
