    Default Wrong section?:S

    How is this thread
    here
In the wrong section? it was in discuss anything. I was told by a staff member that you can post anything in there and it doesnt really matter.
Would it be possible to move it back?

A 50cc engine seems more appropriate in the Vehicle and Transport section to me. You will no doubt get better answers in that section as users who browse that particular section would know more than users browsing Discuss Anything as they would obviously have an interest in cars and engines.
The other day I was in a toilet.
A voice came from the cubicle next to me: "Hello mate, how are you doing?"
I didn't want to be rude, so I said, "Not too bad, thanks."
I heard the voice again. "So, what are you up to?"
Again I answered, "Just having a quick ****... How about yourself?"
Then I heard him say "Sorry, mate, I'll have to call you back. I've got some **** in the cubicle next to me answering everything I say."

Moderators were told a while ago, prior to Mat64 being hired, that a thread should not be moved unless it stuck out like a sore thumb in the section it was in. Although it does fit in Discuss Anything, it is more applicable to Vehicle and Transport but I agree that if you chose to post it in a particular Forum which it technically fits in, it should stay there. It might be better to take it up with Mat64 himself, rather than posting a thread and making a big deal about it - a PM could solve this problem .

We have recently decided to move threads that are in the Discuss Anything forum and that fit better in another forum. This is to stop people from using the Discuss Anything forum for everything, and encourage the use of other forums. You shouldn't get an infraction though when your thread is moved like that.

We were told not too long ago that any thread that would fit better in another forum that it was to be moved there, Especially when It comes to the discuss anything forum we were to be much more strict if threads could be placed in other sections.

But the people who tend to view the Vehicle forums would be able to help more then the users viewing Discuss Anything. It is easier to find their aswell. If you were looking for a thread on engines would you look in the Vehicle/Transport section or dicsuss anything
