It isn't supposed to if you have your bank account all verified - it is supposed to take the money and pay it immediately.

It takes longer if you are wanting to add funds or something to the account.

i have my debit card added so it pays instantly.. however with just a bank account added, it needs to transfer funds from your bank to your PayPal then to the recipient if you get me

yer but for some reason its doing this echeque thing which takes 9 days as opposed to coming from your bank account which takes like a minute

Nope.
I only use my debit card with it because its annoying to wait for it.
its like that for everyone who uses the bank for it.

Solution:

• Add card OR
• Transfer £100 or so from your bank, and just top up it every now and then so you can pay instantly.

well, i'm getting a credit card this weekend for my birthday, and i set up my paypal and everything, just need to add my credit card details when i come back from my dad's. So it meant to be fast "/
