Habbo isn't just maintained by members of staff that use Habbo. There's more staff than that. If someone can down Habbo there's got to be someone working to put it back up awell, regardless of the staff that have a username on Habbo.

The difference from Lost_Witness and Nilsn is that Lost_Witness is only the manager of Habbo Hotel UK, Nilsn is the Office Manager inwhich Lost_Witness, Helkat etc works in to manage Habbo UK and Nilsn is the "boss" of Lost_witness

Owning 51% doesn't automatically make you the owner, it means you have the majority of shares in the company, there could be (and probably is) a shareholder agreement that states Sulake are the so called "owners".

Majority shareholder has the main say in any changes and is classed as the owner actually. Nothing should be changed without his say as if everyone votes yes to something but he votes no, then it wont happen because he has the majority vote etc..

I dunno, surely the homepage'd work or give you a 404 message. If they're able to code it to make the maintenance screen come up in the event of a crash, they'd be able to put a different notice explaining that it has crashed. Though they can be pretty lazy.
