300 odd pound a month doing house removals with my uncle. It gets me by till my labouring job in the new year.
Also known as that charming, handsome, young fellow SHEEPY.

a lot do though. it's not an assumption as such, as i've seen and heard it first hand. my college is one of the best in the north west and the intellect levels are above average, and i know many rely on money to go out on a weekend or w.e.

EMA should be an all or nothing thing. kids with rich parents don't necessarily get money for college equipment and transport etc. i swear i just read some kid gets 30 quid or something from his parents a week, as well as EMA!

    geez.

EMA need to change the way people are allowed to have the EMA. Anyone who has a job probably shouldn't have it, they're earning money "/ And people who are in a small house or are an only child and have an income of £30,000 shouldn't have it.

30,000 dont get it anyway. i think everyone should get it really. i get no money like i said so my work deteriorates because you really neeed money to live so i get a job and others focus on their work.

The government knows that kids don't spend £30 a week on college stuff, but it works also as an incentive to actually turn up. I wouldn't be in college half the time if I didn't get EMA, and I'm an intelligent student, so the attendance of spacks would be close to none.

To answer original question; I get £30 a week EMA and have recently got a job for about £110 a week
