#Let me start by saying.. I've been playing on and off since 2001. Do I have friends? Yes. Do I participate in rl things? Yes. Am I on my computer 24/7 playing Habbo? No. Do I dream of Habbo? No.
I also recently took some stupid online quiz thing about "How Addicted are you to Habbo?" and my results were "Non player or ex-player"
Habbo doesn't ruin lives. It's your fault for becoming addicted. If you turn down some social event because you're trying so hard to get that next throne, that's your fault. All Sulake has done is create a product that is clearly accepted by thousands of young teens, and they're smart when it comes down to it.
At spending money - They don't force you to. In fact, it's even easier to NOT spend money these days then it was 2, 3 and maybe 4 years ago since they have created credits as a tradeable item. I've gotten a few thrones worth.. have I paid? Nope.
At the staff member thing.. I'd say it's all about who you are personally. Some people would see Brad Pitt walking down the street and be like *REMOVED* ITS BRRADDD DOMFOMGOMOGMGOMGOM WHERES ANGELINA!!1/?!?!!??! would I? No. Staff members, just like celebrities are only people. If you think that you need to scream and jump for joy when they say 'hello' to you, then that's on you.
Once again, that's on you. I'm doing fine this year in school.. in fact I'm probably doing better then I've ever done. Do I occasionally play Habbo? Yeah. It's all about you. YOU need to set limits for yourself. YOU need to know when to stop playing. It's all about YOU, not Habbo.
I don't really see how you can say "None of your rl friends would play Habbo" when Habbo has.. what? 7000-9000 people on everyday? That's just the UK Hotel.. nevermind CA and USA
So in closing, Habbo doesn't ruin lives. People seriously need to stop blaming Habbo and Sulake for this. They never forced you to play, it was your own choosing.
Habbo didin't axactly ruin my life but I've seen people around me spent a lot of money on it and I feel like they should have spent it on a long term cause. This is my overall point that whatss the popint investing in something wich won't be long term??

i dont spend any money on it.
and i had alot of furni before being banned
Well your original post was saying that it ruined your life.. soo..
Anyways, this just goes back to my post. If someone takes the game seriously, spends money, gets furni addicted and loses all of their real life friends... then it's their fault. They need to learn how to deal with the addiction. It's just like someone being addicted to smoking or drinking, they need to get over it. It's not the Tobacco companies fault they got addicted. They aren't saying "TRY OUR PRODUCT OR WE'LL KILL YOUR FAMILY!"
All they are doing is offering the product and waiting for people to take it.
Again, you don't need to pay money for it.

I agreeee again, it's just i really get frustraated over how people are on it for ages and don't achieve anything physically. Habbo in moderation is okay but I really hate people who will go on it non-stop and spend mony on it.Well your original post was saying that it ruined your life.. soo..

Edit: I also did Bibliphobia's quiz, I got non-player? Is that good.
It's their choice to go on it for ages and not achieve anything, so I don't know why you're moaning? They have free will... They can decide if they want to spend money on it.I agreeee again, it's just i really get frustraated over how people are on it for ages and don't achieve anything physically. thats good if u don't think ur addicted to habbo, anyways why does it bother you how people spend their free time?I agreeee again, it's just i really get frustraated over how people are on it for ages and don't achieve anything physically. I spend money on Habbo, I work for Habbox, but I still have time for school work and friends. It's not whether you play or not, just how much you play on it.
I remember the night I joined Habbo I found it really interesting, then the next day I got up at about 7am to play Habbo again. Nearly three years later, I still play, but I've learnt not to have it take over my life. When I was ill earlier this year, I stopped playing, for a few weeks because I knew I wouldn't get better if I was on the computer all day. It's knowing when you shouldn't play.
