I agree with certain posts; Lower the strictness of the rule regarding naming hackers/scammers and calling people liars. I think calling people liars shouldn't be something that breaks the rules, only naming scammers/hackers. My reason for this, is that of course somebody could just be holding a grudge against that person. Even with proof, I think it should stay - proof can be easily edited.

I think sometimes the Mods/Super Mods and even sometimes the Admins do not use there common sense they just follow the rules like a robot.

I just seen a post a minute ago and a moderator had edited someones post telling him not to post pointlessly, yet the post was not pointless and it didnt need a edit by a mod.

As for getting told off for calling tht earthquake guy a liar, that is a bit much for them to infract you for that. As everyone knows he is a liar, they should just delete him if he is still around as he does no good for the forum.

And when you tell them that they're obviously lying they tell you not to say point it out. Well I don't see a rule for telling people not to point out liars so you end up getting a pointless infraction which they won't remove even though they've deemed it pointless themselves "/ Also, surely it's a good idea to point out someone is lying, so others know?

It depends what context it is used in. Besides that it is also not allowed to post in the UK News and Rumours saying Old News as it is considered pointless.

How is "calm down you noob" rude? There is no rude word in there? If you're saying your nicer example isn't rude, then surely it is? Because the word which appears in both them is the word 'noob.'

That could be argued. For some reason the word noob seems to get people worked up which is why we clasify it as "rude".

How do you classify it as that? It's not rude, it's just aload of people getting worked up a word which means very little or has no meaning most of the time it's used... It's like me calling you a salty seaman, not rude, but could be cosndiered rude if you've got issues...
