I think you should only gain rep power from time on the forums and not from amount of posts or reputation points. This will stop most the pointless rep.

Only if you could own the forum again, it would be so much better. Thats a great idea and that should be implemented.

Lol I could not cope with all the hassle
If I was still owner and everybody reacted to changes so badly all of the time I would have just emailed you all thanking you for giving me a great time over the years but I could not be doing with all the complaining and then closed for good. Being owner or being responsible for the site like Mad is more trouble than its worth in my opinion unless you were making good money out of it which they dont.

I think the rep change had to happen but perhaps there was a better way of doing it but thats a discussion in itself.

Complaints increased since MAD took over as he makes stupid decisions which annoys the members.

I liked the idea until I realized that the 3 rep power I had worked towards for ages had gone down to 1 rep power

I did, but was checking something. I cba with rep, they might aswell disable the system.

I was up for disabling the system or starting again (everybody's rep gets reset to 10 points), however, we thought that it would cause more mayhem then has happened now.
