brand new and by the looks of things its buggered.

That has bloody spoiled my day, gone out of pocket and waited ages for a piece of plastic which is probably broken. Does anyone know what the problem might be, from the symptoms provided?

If there's no orange light, that means it's fully charged or the battery isn't connected properly.

Take it off charge and flick the power switch up and see if it comes on. If not, take the battery out and put it back in [following instructions].

    Rubbish usually.
Put custom firmware on it, so good. You can do many things, free games, cool applications like free radio, game boy emulators, ds emulators, n64 emulators and so much more.
