Really? I can get it designed and coded for £30, better than you. (not habbowise, your habbo designs are great)

All you seem to do when you program is give PHP and every language in the world a bad name. I seriously do not know how you can even consider selling that "thing" (I wont even bother giving it a proper name it has not got one). It has more bugs than my back garden.

Here allow me to post some links for you:
    http://www.php.net/manual/en/index.php
    http://www.w3schools.com/
    http://www.php-mysql-tutorial.com/

It is about time you stopped using scriptaculous or what ever it is and create your own frame works.

People think you are "amazing" at programming as you constantly post new threads for every bloody thing you alter to your scripts. You get the publicity and then use it for your own gain.

For calling me a *****.. I am a successful programmer with around 5-6 years experience. I am in employment with a major developing company and therefore I do not program as a hobby like you but as a job.

It is about time for you to come back to earth, stop making people think your an "amazing" coder and learn proper programming structures.

Only and only then would I advise people to buy scripts / programs you produce. At this time you are not at that standard.

Quoted for goddamn truth, I have something like 3 years experience myself and I'm still learning the odd bit here and there, just the odd functions that I never really needed before. If I want to do something shiny I code it myself, I never rely on someone elses code, I always keep ******* it up until it manages to work, then I **** it up some more and it generally gets things working pretty smooth.

So yeah, Simon take some advice from Baving, stop with all the popularity ********, only the sheep that can't code will follow you, coders (that are actually experienced like myself and Baving) will tell you where you can stick it.

Edit: I'm the Dan he's talking about.

These two posts above are so true. Im not being sheep, neither am I going to slate you. Simon, sometimes you can be an alright guy, and yes, sometimes people can respect you. But sometimes, you can take insults a little to far. I am coming up to about 2 years (i think) of coding php, yes, so I may not be as good as Baving or Dan, but I use my own coding to do what I please. You could easily code yourself a new javascript thing if you wanted to, just like I could code a news cms for myself in php. It just not being big headed and thinking your the best, its about sharing your skills with everybody and taking in the respect you may not get, and not using it to think you are god.

How the hell do I try to make people think I am an amazing coder. I've said on several occasions I'm not good at PHP and I am still learning :\

    No I can't. Thus I'm using sciptaculous.

I don't think "I'm the best" as again, I've said many times I'm not a good coder. I try to share my "skills" as much as I can by helping out with new coders or people that do not understand a function or don't understand why their script isn't working.

I'm not trying to put anything close to I'm a good coder by making something like this and offering people to buy it for £50. The fact it's at £50 is that I don't really want to sell it, but if people must buy it then they can for that price.

So yeah, Simon take some advice from Baving, stop with all the popularity ********, only the sheep that can't code will follow you, coders (that are actually experienced like myself and Baving) will tell you where you can stick it.
By this thread I was not trying to get "popularity". I was trying to get some users signed up so I can increase my Fansite's fanbase as most site owners do. It was also to try and get people to find bugs (->"It has more bugs than my back garden.").

I am a successful programmer with around 5-6 years experience. I am in employment with a major developing company and therefore I do not program as a hobby like you but as a job.
You don't think I know that? Why do you think I said I respect you for being a great coder? Sorry for calling you that when really I was only speaking to the other Dan for all the annoying things he says to me throughout my recent time on the forum. If you had some respect for me Dan as a learning coder , then I might have some respect back for you.

Well if that is the case please take on board what people have said (That is not to flame you, just advice). I do not have time to post silly replies to cause arguments - I am too busy.

In future please read what you have typed before you click "Reply" or "Create New Thread".

For me - end of anti-matter.
