A quick thought about portal and half life

Well, you know at the very end of portal you end up outside of the arpeture science institution...

And at the end of hl2:ep2 you are aboutt o travel to the borealis which is to do with arpeture...

Do you think the two games will end up intertwining? Like gordon ends up with the portal gun or something
