I have been playing Doom on the Arcade, and I don't understand how Newchip can have a score of 243, in a time of 2:12 even, while it seems there isn't enough ammunition to get far above 160?
And I am also currious how jrh2002 got to his score in only 0:39 minutes, or is that some kind of bug?

if you submit a score after getting the high score, if the time is lower it seems to over ride the time next to the high score.

You can "trick" the arcade score, and cheat, therefore making your score higher.
I did it last week and got permed banned.

the times are buggy - i got a high score of hexxagon in 31 seconds but when i submitted my comment it said 55

I used all my ammo correctly and had to change gun depending on what enemy it was attacking to get maximum effect. I attacked everything what came at me I dont know if you can run away? and then with my last bit of life I destroyd a few by hand until I was killed.
I will let everybody read my tips of how I got my score and beat me just to answer your question. I was amazed at the 200+ score and somebody told me that you can cheat the scores.
I think Sierk just wants some tips really
