Hi, I just realised my VIP runs out 1 day before the voting end, does it matter if people vote for me in the vip section? because currently I am vip but will not be when they close?

    Thanks n_n

That doesn't make much sense to me.. I mean obviously if he's not VIP he can't be a VIP council member, but what happens if a normal council member buys VIP?

That's why VIPs are actually allowed to run for member council positions. The VIPs and the Members are still all members, whereas staff have somewhat different views and opinions. The Habbox public will decide whether they want a VIP to be one of their council reps. If a member buys VIP after elections, there's nothing we can do. Its sort of like a politician changing his views after he's elected. There's nothing stopping him, but perhaps he won't get reelected next time

OH that makes sense yeah, so basically VIPs have more chance of getting nominated because they can be nominated in two areas (or three I guess if staff are also in on it )

Yah, except not staff. Staff can only run as staff, since they have different privileges than members and other things to think about (special forums, staff only events, departmental morale etc).
