I recently baught rock band for the ps3, and I was wondering how to get the Guitar Hero guitar working with it to use as a bass guitar.

You can't use the guitar from guitar hero because Activision blocked the update allowing it

Yea but he's probably talking about GH3, I don't think the 360 guitar for GH3 works, I'm fairly certain you can use the GH2 guitar but I'm not sure

XBox 360 wise the GH3 guitar works for Rock Band but the Rock Band guitar doesn't work for GH3.

PS3 wise neither work with each other.

GH2 will work with GH3.

Are you sure? I know they wanted the GH3 guitar to work for Rock Band but I'm certain Activision blocked it from 360 aswell as PS3
