Ben was right
Whilst the age of consent has been lowered to 16 there is a new act which is called 'abuse of trust'. This means anybody in a position of trust such as a teacher, care worker, priest etc etc is restrained from having a relationship with a young person between the age of 16 - 18 who in their school, care or parish and can still be prosecuted for it. This exception was introduced because of fears of grooming and sexual exploitation because of their status.
Kinda worrying how stupid the people teaching phse seem to be, youd really think if there gonna teach in the area they should have had an update, i mean the law changed 8 years ago now?
