At above, what I meant was, I work hard and revise, no matter how much I hate it, and those are the predicted grades I got.

Also, I got a C, and he said it was bad, but i'm proud of it.
i'm out of touch, i'm out of love
i'll pick you up when you're getting down
and out of all these things i've done
i think i love you better now

To me it looked like he was showing off his grades in comparison to what the thread starter got.

yeah but theyre your predicted grades.. not your actual grades lmao

sometimes if your predicted a's or a*'s you tend to slack a little on the work

I know, thats probaly what i'm doing now imo.

But I meant, I got the predicted grades from the year before, when I worked hard, which I don't do as much now.

At GCSE, it's not going to get you a job, but if you have an A Level in it, it can help you go to University to study it. Someone with a Degree, even in media studies, is more likely to get a job than someone who isn't.

Predictions are normally wrong. You are just starting Year 10 and you are being predicted for grades in just over a years time? Just think how much better you will get, you haven't even done a quater of your GCSEs yet so there is still loads of time.

Year 11 isn't special either, but you will be able to expand on your knowledge. Also, if they give you bad predictions it will make you work really hard to get really high marks. I got a little cocky and fluffed it up. Don't do the same as I did

I have already said, Universitys won't even acknowledge Media Studies when people are applying for the University.

Want to provide me with some proof for that?
All these universities offer media studies.

And besides, what's wrong with studying subjects because you enjoy them? I take A level Art and Photography. I don't need them. I'll never use them.
