Tbh I find the direction this thread has gone a great disrespect to mat. Starting an argument about spelling in the midst of a discussion about the decision to fire mat(t) is out of order imo. But to pick up on Catzsy's point, the forum is indeed multicultural, if I'm not mistaken Sierk is dutch and some of his announcements don't quite make sense sometimes, but we don't flame him for that.

Well why were the spelling corrections in bold then, Jimi? Yes I did notice you were making a sarcastic comment but quite honestly it didn't really do you justice in the situation and certainly not something you are known for.
Mat I would definitely appeal to Sierk and I am sure if Sierk did feel it was a hasty decision then Jimi would not complain.

the best form of defence is attack.

Sammeth, Sierk does have very good english but he is not between 11 and 15 years old and possibly from another country.

I find the obsession with spelling especially by some moderation staff to almost be a form of control.
