Technically the BBC would have to launch free online TV then. As all the TV Licence income goes straight to the BBC, thats how they don't have advertisements in the middle of shows or product advertising between shows

Also we do have the issue of connection to the internet, not everyone has fast connections yet. The introduction of Broadband did improve it, but the prices have to go down and speeds go up before it becomes a national thing. I have a reasonable connection of 8 Meg (so around about 7.2 actually works) and I still experience jumps and stops when watching Two Pints on the BBC Three website.

    - There was a period when Blog's were really starting up everywhere, okay there's still alot today, but it's getting less in my opinion.

    - Social Networking site's such as Myspace, Facebook, Netlog are the hype of today I think, but I'm not to sure on their future... I think these site's won't have any competition, it will be like the computer industry, ran by the 2 giants: myspace & netlog.

    - Hmm, there no point in creating a second youtube like site, as you should all admit, we would all continue to stay with youtube. (I've seen things like GarageTV trying to get up, but it just won't).

    Ideas:

Hmm, I think theres alot of people who do other things on the internet then chat, but I think the largest group just keeps to chatting and social network sites
    ..Combine the 2 together..

It would be nice I guesse to see a Social Instant Message Networking (SIMN) site, having all the features as netlog & myspace, but adding an online instant messenger to it, where it is possible to view someone's personal page and then request him to your account and if he accept's, you could chatt with them just as in msn.

Thats just my ideas, so yeah.. good luck with it.

    Olivier P.

I personally would like to see a chatroom network. Its a Habbo hotel style avatar based client except from you can embed the chatroom in your own site and each site has their own 'room' but they all connect to the same databases so you can use the same user on each. So you could go on Habbox.com and talk to users from here then go onto say your favirote bands website and talk to people who love that band. It would also be cool if it let you make your own items so you could complete personalise your room to your site. The first person to do that is a rich man in my opinion.

Stage six will replace youtube, better quality, faster load times (sometimes)

Maybe, but not anytime soon, not everyone knows about it yet.
Okay quite a few people know it, but the bigger group of people (being people who only use youtube/msn/socialnetwork sites when they're on the pc) don't know about Stage-6 and the word 'Youtube' is a word, almost everyone in the world knows these days.

I guesse in the future, if they work on their advertisement & publicity they could catch up, maybe gain in on youtube.
