I support United for the exact same reasons as UnitedRoad said, I grew up watching them.

Also, I suppose you'd call either Leeds or Bradford my local team, but I've never had much intrest in either 'cause no one I knew as a child did. But I suppose it had to start as Glory Hunting somewhere down the line. Also, you do often like a team cause people you know do.

Yeah but your from the North, I'd say United are your local team if Bradford is near you, Manchester is what... an hour from Bradford if it's a clear road? That ain't glory supporting. You just have a selection of teams to support.

it takes me around 2 hours to get to salford from leicester so its only an hour more

Not really, Bradford is classed as around five minutes from 'Greater Manchester', I think five minutes can suffice.
