FALSE. .com, if anything, stands for any domain name. You get French, German infact every country have .com addresses. .com is global, .us is USA.
as prooven from Hotmail and Microsoft
Aye? One of the major reasons they put out .co.uk hotmail addresses was so people have an increased chance of having a decent email address. You can still get .com addies.

And the fact .Eu is implying all European country's I think its a fantastic idea, it really go's with the new government agreement with EU on the treaty signing.
... What? .eu implies that Habbox.com is a European website. It is more of a US/UK website... I don't see French, German and Dutch sections everywhere

Could we not change back to .Com because .Eu is faster, more affective and plus more understandable.
Affective... In what sense? Understandable? Hardly...

Habbox.com has always been known as a .com site. In fact, you can still use it as the .com site, I do because I saved it under the .com website in my favourites.

    So it still works.

ALSO, it is apparently only temporary because for some strange reason, the techies (whou should be fired quite frankly) don't understand how to change DNS and how to change redirects. It takes 5 seconds.

I don't really care what it redirects too, aslong as habbox.com works and it takes me to habbox.
I asked the question in another thread of why it had changed and Adzeh was kind enough to explain that it was for technical reasons and will be going back so that was the end of the matter but now earthquake wants it to stop as .eu lol

I'm pretty sure Tom & Jin know pretty much what they're doing .

I don't really care what the domain is aslong as it's not an rubbish free domain and still lets you acess the site via Habbox.com.

Because some people are way too obsessed. Then theres the people who say "IT STARTED AS .COM AND SHOULD BE THAT!!!" etc. even though its being changed back

Clearly not if it's taken a few weeks :S All you have to do is change the redirect link and the dns (if needed, doesn't look like it though). Apparently Jin has a history with being slightly useless. Last time the DNS needed changing he disappeared,, re-appeared, asked people how to do it, said it was useless, someone told him, he thought he found it himself, changed them.

How on earth can a domain name be broken, or does that mean they've lost the password to the domain name host?

Stop trying to type in full English when you can't use basic grammar.
