When you're phone is confiscated in my school, you have to go to the school office at the end of the day and they look through your phone for any porn or pictures taken in classes (you get made to delete them if they find any) and you get like an hour lecture.

They're not allowed to keep your phone I don't think, and will have to give it back if your parents ask for it.

our school never used to do anything about it.. just like "put it away please" an then they just tell them off.. no detention, but since.. its got really bad. like in english we got phone calls from mates an it wasnt on silent so fone went off and teacher looked at us, they were like "sorry.." then like 3 seconds later shes like yeah wher r u il come meet u now.. meet me blah blah, an teacher was just like omg an we wer jst laffin lmao.

but now they keep it til the end of tha day

Thats illegal, it's human rights.
They are not aloud to look at your personal belongings.

At my school they usually just say "put that away" but depending which teacher, and what mood their in, they confiscate it until the end of the day, after that its end of week, then end of term, unless your parents contact the school in any circumstance.

@ - They're not allowed to look through your phone, I always turn mine off and remove my sim and memory card before I hand mine in anyway, but im sure you could find something in the Data Protection Act that would ban them from doing this.?
