Probably not flash files, also I was under the impression he was going to be creating a high end MMOCC with shockwave director, not some isometric chatroom.

You do know that's what Habbo is?...lol.

Also, Myth it's not the flash files that use up the bandwidth its the server which will require a high amount of memory and cpu usage. The better the server is coded, the less server resources it requires. So obviously, if the server is badly coded, you'll require a higher spec VPS/Dedi.

Indeed. I know habbo is an isometric chatroom, but I meant addons as in furniture etc.. Also it has got to be fast.. think about how fast you buy something in the catalog andhow fast you send a contact form.. they're performing about the same amount of operations but usually contact forms arn't on too high end servers ;P but do correct me if I'm wrong.. I'm not an mmocc fanatic and don't nose around it too much, but I hear there quite a few files needed.. also don't you need a few .dll's i think anyways. Also I think if you actually made a half decent mmocc everybody would flock to it, and you'd need more than a vps. CT used a vps at the start.. and they have 8k registered.. and most people have more than 1 name.

Okay. You can run a client on a small VPS, not 5 dedicated servers..

Maybe a VPS for the client, and a VPS for the database..

MMOCC's arn't as easy as they seem, and many months of work need to be put into a project to get a successful outcome. You MUST have money aswell. I am not talking about the odd £5 here, £10 there - you really need a min. of £250, that is what I spent on my MMOCC, and later sold it for a small loss.

Reading the above post, I suggest you supply proof of your money set aside.
I have to agree with you on those points.

    I know I'm amazing
Finally, welcome back Tom! Missed you.

I am about tired of people like you, Darren has changed, most people can see that, as they no longer have a go at him.

Get over it.. he failed at a couple of projects, I have failed at so many, its not even funny anymore.

You stand back up and go on.
