My forums dead, what can I do?

Hey

I know many people on here are good with running forums and some own very professionally ran forums that are very successful. My forum started out great and I thought it would be a major success, recently it has been very inactive with about 10 members logging on every 24 hours.

The vicious circle is that people wont register to an inactive forum therefore the forum stays inactive.

If anyone can post any helpful information like where to advertise, improvements that can be made etc please post them and it will be very appreciated.

general forums often fail unless you have million of users already intrested before it starts.

Personally the name is bad, and the style. let alone the billion habbo nerds!

You should of thought more into the domain more, personally its not very attractive to me.

You did better as a habbo forum.

I'm registered and it's a pretty decent forum! I'd like to see it get popular so good luck with it all.

I think a good thing to do is to refer your friends from school and get them to post a lot.
That'll make the forum seem more active and will also make a few more users register if they think the forum is quite active
