I knew a girl who lives in Britain....terrible place.....she was raped, reported it to the police and they laughed at her. Raped by her own father and they ignored her.

In Canada the police actually listen to people instead of ignore them.

And also, Ecstasy isn't a huge problem here in Canada either, as it is in Britain.

I watched the same girl, two nights in a row, take 3 XTC tabs and nearly die. The 2nd night she promised me she only took one but she really took 3 (we were cam-chatting due to mass boredom)

After camming with her....I can no longer look at a cucumber the same way.....let's just leave it at that *drool*

Wow I'm lucky. Yesterday I played out with my cousin of 9 years old and didn't get stabbed. I shall thank my lucky stars.

5790 people last year got stabbed.
189,000 people went to casualty due to a car accident.

Yeah, any EU citizen can live here, just as much as i can go and live anywhere else in the EU

wot u chattin, 1, not every one is british out of the 55 million people who live in this country

most foreigners are ilegal, illegal imagrants work as security guard at our air ports, this aint a safe country and 2

its our fault that were i nthis war
Excuse me mate "most foreigners are illegal" is so wrong. Most foreigners (90%+) living/working in this country are legally allowed to. There are lots of immigrants, but the majority are allowed to live here.
    goodbye.

We appear to be living in a shallow society driven by a ridiculous greed for possessions that allows some to excel but at the same time leads to the oppression of many others. We also need to dispose of our false sense of superiority. We're just an island confused as to whether we want to be European or American.

    /end rant

I really can't be bothered with someone whos trying to make Britain seem worse then it actually is.
Its ok that you are generalising Britain from your area then yeah? :eusa_whis

I'm not arguing with you, my opinion on Britain at the moment is just as valid as yours and there is no way you are going to undermine my thoughts on it. I would also appreciate it if you didn't incinuate that I live in a complete hell hole where it is common for people to be stabbed, and the kids are all hoodies out of control, as that is not the case.

I'm not saying that I am not thankful to have been brought up in this country, because I count myself lucky to have been educated and raised here. But that respect for the nation doesn't mean I agree with everything that goes on inside our borders.

It was from the person I quoted, it wasn't my actual opinion (if that was what you were pointing out.)

I wasn't generalising. I was pointing out that what you said doesn't happen everywhere in Britain. Don't belittle me.

I wasn't insinuating that you live in a hell hole - where did this claim come from?

I'm not sure what the last bit of your post has to do with anything, so whatever. I was pointing out that everything you said doesn't happen everywhere in Britain, that was all. If I offended you, I didn't do it purposefully.

    You've not offended me.

It sounded as though you were generalising when you said that Britain is not the way I think it is, and then (it seems) you continued to say that this is not the case because it doesn't happen where you live.
