i wldnt know coz i havent been there before. but from what i learn from school, you guys are lucky

foreigner, putting u straight, Britain is knowing around the world as a GOOD place to live, stop douting that, i'd rather be in this country than any other country in the world.

I knew a girl who lives in Britain....terrible place.....she was raped, reported it to the police and they laughed at her. Raped by her own father and they ignored her.

In Canada the police actually listen to people instead of ignore them.

And also, Ecstasy isn't a huge problem here in Canada either, as it is in Britain.

Yeah, any EU citizen can live here, just as much as i can go and live anywhere else in the EU

But what I see is people moaning about immigrants coming here and not working, then people moaning that immigrants are taking all the jobs. Also people using the "diminishing British culture" as an excuse, what exactly is British culture? In terms of sponging benefits, obviously it's wrong but plenty of British citizens take advantage of it and evade taxes.

Excuse me mate "most foreigners are illegal" is so wrong. Most foreigners (90%+) living/working in this country are legally allowed to. There are lots of immigrants, but the majority are allowed to live here.

We appear to be living in a shallow society driven by a ridiculous greed for possessions that allows some to excel but at the same time leads to the oppression of many others. We also need to dispose of our false sense of superiority. We're just an island confused as to whether we want to be European or American.

Where I live, none of this actually happens; people don't get stabbed, people don't use brap/blud and people don't get abducted. I'm not arguing with you, my opinion on Britain at the moment is just as valid as yours and there is no way you are going to undermine my thoughts on it. I would also appreciate it if you didn't incinuate that I live in a complete hell hole where it is common for people to be stabbed, and the kids are all hoodies out of control, as that is not the case.

I'm not saying that I am not thankful to have been brought up in this country, because I count myself lucky to have been educated and raised here. But that respect for the nation doesn't mean I agree with everything that goes on inside our borders.
