Other way around, the sea looks blue because of the sky.

Blue doesn't exist, that's the argument - not how the sky is blue.

Sometimes there's just no fun trying to find the logic in everything.

    But it does exist. :S

It's like saying 'red doesn't exist because blood is red'.

Somebody said in a report the other month the sky only looks blue because of the reflection off the see maybe they should take a glass full of sea water and see what colour it actually is lol looks brown to me maybe i need to visit some more exotic locations
The sky is so called 'blue' because of rayliegh scattering that happens when solar flares try come into our atmosphere but the magnetic field around the Earth protects us from them and causes them to scatter, the colour particles all get 'absorbed' , well all except blue which gets scattered around the atmosphere so when we look up we see the blue.
Just a little bit of geek talk for you all

An argument about blue not existing could be why is it called 'blue' and not red? Some guy originally called it blue and due to propaganda from schools , parents and everyone else we call it blue , same way we call red , red and green , green. We can easily say that blue and red are supposed to be the other way round etc .

the colour blue exists because we've grown up knowing that it's physically tangible. It's like saying a tree isn't a tree. I think it's the colours black and purple that aren't actually tangible, but i'm not too sure on the science behind them.

A leaf on a tree is green because they contain something called Chloroplast inside them which 1. Turn it green 2. Produces food for them.

Chloroplast are supposedly 'green' well how do we know that the chloroplasts chemicals have an effect on human eyes and makes them invert the colour we see so it's really green.

Or how do we know that the eyes on Human aren't really as developed as other creatures and they see the world right and we don't due to us not being able to see certain colours.

Tbh everything we know is wrong and is part of an big scheme figured out many years ago during the dawn of time.
