makes me laugh how people make huge deals out of stuff like this, it wasn't big, well for the UK it was moderate but on a global scale it was tiny

no injuries reported and damage confined to a few chimneys falling off

lol people on habbo where swearing planes had crashed landed and houses had fallen down

    :x I felt it.

Considering I've never experienced an earthquake at night (then again, it's the biggest one I've even felt...) I hadn't a clue what was going on. Waking up (well, opening my eyes... just came back from my bathroom...) to a massive bang, a roar than violent shaking... Sheesh. Got up, looked outside my bedroom, realised a train hadn't crashed into my street and went downstairs...

Meh, I hadn't a clue what ws going on.

measured 5.3 on rictor scale, which is quite bad taken from wikipedia:

Moderate - Can cause major damage to poorly constructed buildings over small regions. At most slight damage to well-designed buildings.

A chimney actually fell through a roof and landed on a man in bed, but he was only injured.
