You're both wrong. Just because they are both have the suffix "mon" people think they're similar... they arent :S.

digimon has monsters that only a few people know about and have their own world, their "tamer" who doesnt actually tame them, the digimon in a way, choose them dont even tell them what to do in a fight like pokemon.


i love digimon but when ppl say it's like pokemon its like no it isnt :<

I've watched a few animes as te above were saying, DBZ was great. Dragonball kinda bored me though. DBZ was just epic back in the day.

Gundam Wing, I absolutely adored when it came out,
It pretty much set the Mechs for the oncoming series of Anime.
Like, the Sutherlands in Code Geass, Look very similar to the Mobile Suits in Gundam.

I didn't think tehy were the same becaue they have 'mon' on the end.

I just thought when i saw it once it was just a bunch of wierd monster things going round fighting and don't they have 'owners'?
