Recently, the more I go on the site, the more I cringe at it's hideousity.

v2 - It looked rather good, from what I remember. Not so terrible.

v3 - Still accessible, and it looks okay!

v4 - Fantastic Layout.

v5 - WHAT is this? The colours clash so so badly, and it's hardly in with the times, retro doesn't wasn't quite the way to go in this case.

Can't you change it back to v4? It really looks terrible at the moment

Considering most of the HxL listeners come from Habbox's main page, the actual HxL website probably does not get that many visits.

On topic: I think a new layout may be proposed soon anyway, we've had V5 for a good few months now and it is probably time to change.

I think V5 is good though because it has a fast load time due to having only two iframes, V4 is made up solely of iframes and sliced images and so takes longer to load.

I will try and bring this up later with management.

To be honest, there shouldn't be any iframes, if Retro was the way to go, you totally missed that, by like 150 mile markers.

Constructive: I know the original Habbox did not use those ugly, ugly, ugly, beveled borders.

You don't need to use iframes, I just tested the loading times of both v4 and v5.

v5 actually loaded faster then v4 did.

v4 loaded faster without iframes, using AJAX.
v5 loaded faster then v4 with AJAX, instead of iframes.

I think he was reffering to the whole "HabboxLive only gets its listeners from habbox.com" argument .

Anyway I agree that the layout isn't amazing and has been around a while so could do with being changed however in my opinion how it is now is a lot better than v3 and v4.
