Management getting too big for their boots and a bit stuck up in my opinion but when your in power I suppose its what can happen. I think if someone like Catzsy resigns it must be for a good reason as she is a very good and fair person

I never actually thought about that... Thats very strange. I think it's reluctancy in the management ranks to be honest with you. Too much control may make them feel phased out.

I'm not entirely sure what is up with the council. I know about as much as you, and I'm apart of it :S I can say this for certain, though, that no members of the council even know if their ideas have been used and the council keeps changing which confuses everything. It's not nvrspk's fault, he is being forced to make these changes and is looking like a right goon on behalf of his leaders, who seem to fear the council making too many changes. We've been told to think up new ideas, so if anyone wants anything to change. The answer is "No." We simply don't have the power. Every system like the word filter, moderation system and rep system are set in stone, we have no say in what needs to change, even though we're backed by members who know how the forum runs alot more than the management.

Wow... Well that just sums up the future of the Council really. Very, very pointless. I'm starting to think they just made the council to keep members 'happy' and to give them a 'meaning'. Well that went wrong if that was the reason. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for nvrspk4...

I never liked the council idea from the start, I check the forums now and again and there is nothing going on with them. Like Jrh2002 said, Nvrspk4 put a lot of work into them, but it takes more than just one staff member to get it all going so it doesn't look as though he has had enough backing.

The council has been discussed back years ago and it was never set up, I never thought it would work and it hasn't, lets hope they can prove us wrong.

Sad to see you leave Catzy as your probably one of a very few council staff who have actually tried to get it going (And before people have a go at me, I admit that I aint even touched the council stuff as until it has some proper kind of use apart from being set up to keep the memebers happy, then I have no need to waste my time on posts which will just be left to rot and nothing acted upon)
