Default How long will this take?

If I bought an item off eBay today via Person Cheque, the cheque was posted like 2pm today. The guy lives in Essex and I live in Belfast. I paid for Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded which was £6.99, take in mind it takes 1-3 days for a cheque to clear.

    From my experience 1-2 weeks
The seller doesn't always cash the cheque the day they get it

usually 5 working days for a cheque to clear unless the person cashing it pays extra for express clearance
