Painting a car a different car is not a good idea. I put my car off the road into a snow bank and the summer before a U-Haul van backed into it, and I had to replace the bumper and the fender and some other parts, and I got used parts that were from a black car and then painted silver, and when I hit the snow bank it took the silver paint off and left the black underneath =(

sort of.. they're not exactly hard to fit, just time consuming. I had to remove the bumper to get to the underside brackets.

The housing is cracked on one of mine so I want to replace it in the near future. It still functions fine, it just bugs me every time I look at it!
