    Default Is this Right?

At the time my brother was 22 and he wanted to join the police.
This takes time 2-3 years right? Anyways 2 years later he got a repley
saying he is through to the next stage. Time to take Medicals, past all the medicals. 2 weeks later they phone and say you have done it. Pick up your uninform and number next week.

They sent him a later saying has anything changed about YOURSELF over the past 2-3 years he put yes - dont want to go through what he put.

He is stupid through because they asked as has anything changed about YOURSLEF, he never commited no crime. It was other member in our family.
He could of got away with it if he never said anything.

In life you should'nt be innocent all the time because it
    dont get you anywhere.

Anyway he got a call a few days later saying " Im sorry but your contract has been determinated, they never told him why.

He has appealed against this and has got some refrences from some CID'S he knows but i dont know if that will help just got what and see.

Im sure the Law has changed, one time you were not allowed to Join the police if your famaily has commited a crime. That has changed now im sure.

The thing i dont get is, that police check your famaily records, my brother got through all this way and be told he cannot join now. Obvs they never checked records properly.

Now my brother has to beg to Boss at Virgin to let him have his job back.

    Sorry for spelling mistakes

Im just wondering is right if they put him through all this way to last the last week and say "no sorry you cannot join"

Yes, shame he's gone through everything to get to the final stage of his police career. Try and take legal action thats what i'd do.

if he didn't get the job because another family member commited the crime then that is unfair

    but

if he didn't get the job because he commited a crime, then i think the decision is fair, be serious i doubt the police force want a criminal police officer no matter how petty the crime is when they could choose someone with a clean record.
