    Default Englands 23-man squad confirmed.

Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson comes in to replace Carson.
David Beckham retains his place in the squad and could get the chance to win his 100th England cap in Paris. Jenas scored the opening goal of Capello's reign in the friendly win over Switzerland last month, while Wright-Phillips got the winner.
I'm suprised that Defoe was dropped rather than Theo Walcott. And with Young and Wright-Phillips dropped I think it's looking even more likely that Beckham will earn his 100th cap. I'd also liked to have seen Rob Green given a call up instead of Paul Robinson.

He's trying out the new younger, future players. Fair play to him, he's making it his job and his only, i rate him for that.

It's how the Italians work. They like to give the youths a chance, get the young ones ready so in years to come their used to it.

Maybe he should have called up Ben Foster then rather than Paul Robinson or maybe Joe Hart (high five BlueMoon)

I was gonna say, what were you on about? :S

He's dropped Wheater, Agbonlahor, Young. Arguably 3 players who have a future in the England set-up. And why has he dropped Jenas and Defoe :S!
Why do we need 3 keepers? :S:S!

No doubt it'll work for Capello, but it seems a bit weird the players he has dropped :/

And if he's trying young players I would have liked to have seen Agbonlahor rather than Crouch. Oh well, he knows best
