I recommend that you quit trying to act like you know it all .
Hope at least someone with an interest in web design joins the team.
Me acting like I know it all? Please. You're acting like you have the ego of George Bush
Your feedback is uttercrap, the Forums are fine how it is and you don't have a right to talk about the moderators. If I don't play Habbo I should get to moderate on a Habbo Forum, shouldn't I?
Hey,Well, saw another thread a moment ago with a proposal I didn't really agree with.
After looking through the Design & Development section of Habbox, there are a few sub-forums that are inactive:
These forums are just, not active as mot users would like.
- Coding
- Programming
Mr proposal is to merge the Coding and Programming forums, and create one main subforum: Help (or something of the sort), which would include all of the general help for the D&D forums.
The main D&D forum is being cluttered with "Why isn't it working?", "Help me", threads, that get very annoying.
The second thing I see are the moderators for the forum: Hitman, H0BJ0B
Why not get some people to be moderators, that actually *know* (not sure if they do) or are interested in Designing and Development, otherwise they are just the blind leading the blind.
Users that have experience in the Design and Development section should be looked at to be potential/extra moderators in this department, because the mess is getting terrible in the main forum.
Hope at least someone agrees.
Thanks,
Caleb
I do code and design and I am interested in coding and designing. I've not been designing recently due to having a lot to do (such as moderating).
I don't see how having to know anything about web design is needed for moderating. When I'm on HabboxForum I do moderate most of the time, however due to an extra security precaution (it's somewhat related to emails) mods aren't currently receiving reported posts, so I have to manually go through everything - don't forget there are other forums and subforums in the Technology and the Web forum which need to be attended to.
I've cleaned it up a little atm, whilst trying to deal with bullying and double posting in other forums. It's not an overload of work, I can manage but I can't do 10 things at once. You're saying the mess could be cleaned up, which it is being, from mods that have knowledge in web design, I fail to see how that would make a difference?
Hitman.
If my feedback is "uttercrap", why did management listen to it, and put it into place? :rolleyes:Me acting like I know it all? Please. You're acting like you have the ego of George Bush

Spoke on MSN, didn't mean to make it sound like that, it just seems that the D&D forum is being neglected a little bit with only two forum moderators for such a big section.Hey,

Hitman.
I understand that the webhost section takes up a bunch of time, with the recent Darren crap.
The knowledge in web design could be useful, as the moderator would know what forum to put things in, instead of just throwing it into random forums (which has happened before).
The moderator should have a sense of "is this a web design project, or should it stay here.. blabla."
Didn't mean to make it say you are not doing your job, you are a great moderator.
Totally agree with you there CalebWell, saw another thread a moment ago with a proposal I didn't really agree with.

Thanks,
CalebApplied for moderator aswell, hopefully I'll get it as that is like the only forum I visit (nearly)
Well I view and use the Design and development forum alot and i'd say I know what goes on in there but I don't think I count as i'm not actually assigned to it![]()
I thought supermoderators could do it anywhere though?
Ahh I see.
I think the technology section needs more then just two moderators though, but Elkaa said some will be put there, yay![]()
