Well, no.
The verification is to receive Habbo emails, you know, the newsletter.
They don't reply if you've won a comp so you only need to use the email to send it in.
But if you want to stay safe, try verifying.
But it doesn't really matter.

When some friends and I won 'Battle of the Resorts' Habbo contacted me in the first instance via my registered Habbo email address. The prizes were to be given out on Habbo. So my advice would be to use it at all times, mainly for ease with anything that's related to your Habbo account
