well i'm sure it would be possible to change the colour of rep whilst still giving you the correct comment when hovering (corresponding to the amount rep the person has). if it requires hacks then ok, i'll dream on.

That rep just means you've been repped (or an admin) edited his/her/ reputation to minus instead of plus.

As a moderator, you should be setting an example to members by following the rules and showing respect to other peoples opinions. Maybe you don't think it looks good but some people, as well as myself do.
