PS3 or Xbox 360?

I had a 360 and it gave up and died after less than a month so I waited until the PS3 was released and got one PS3 is much better and far more reliable. We also get free online play and not forced to buy it.

I like the look of the Wii but without GTA4 and a few other games there was no way it came before the ps3 or 360. I might get a wii at some point but im in no rush.

You just had bad luck with your xBox.

Yeah we have to pay for live, but the console is cheaper, therefore it adds up?
Plus online is better due to the much better variety of games on the box, like halo 3.

If you want to buy the cheapest blue-ray dvd player you are looking at £230 so for the ps3 and 2 games and also 2 controllers then £290 is great.
They say games will be made for the ps3 until 2016/17 (a new sony console will be out way before 2016)
the 360 online play is much better I agree but the ps3 online play will be improved and probably copy alot of the 360 online play in time.

When is the new Xbox due? It is alot less powerful than the ps3 so I imagine they will be bringing something new out in the next 2 years.

I am annoyed with sony that they stopped the backwards compatability for the 40gb version (the ps1 games work on it but not the ps2)

Must say I prefer a Wii as I'm not a hardcore gamer at all and just like a little bit of light hearted fun. If I want more games then I just use my PS2. I have never even touched a PS3, but enjoyed playing on Burnout Paradise City on a 360 Live. So 360, even though I don't own either console.

I am just playing Burnout Paradise on the PS3 andits amazing I doubt theres much of a difference on the 360 though.

I didnt say just you. I know the ROD can happen to alot but there's more users who dont get that then users who do so you must of been unluck to get that specially at such sort time having the xbox.

with ps3's the only errors occured coz of idiots gettin it covered in dust/water/etc.

60gb are no longer made so you would need one 2nd hand or a over priced brand new one that somebody has saved to make a big profit.

I have kept my ps2 and im sure in the future some 3rd party company will make a ps2 emulator to use with the ps3 (sony said they are not going to make one)
