I always found that what makes great films are ones that once they are successful they know when to stop. I mean, OK a sequel to the original was fair enough considering its popularity but the 3rd one was quite disappointing and this is really pushing it too far. By pushing movies and dragging every last drop of enjoyment and money out of them it can kill the whole thing. It is much better for them to start to work on something new rather than to be continuing with this.
Personally this is a bad idea if it goes ahead in my opinion.

I really liked 1 + 2, 3 was a disappointment. I think they are just dragging it on now though.

TBH i don't want shrek to end, you grow to love the characters and I'd probably miss them.

I love the Shrek movies but I think they should have stopped at 3. Same for Jurassic Park, why make a fourth? They're just killing it now!
