With Klydo you can edit everything in real simplicity. You can either use a basic editor which allows you to edit colours, border widths and so on. Then there is our advanced editor which allows you to edit HTML and CSS directly. Then you can select from pre-made layouts by staff and other members. So you can customize your Klydo profile as much or as little as you want

yeh but although you ahve a basic editor, so does myspace.
you can rotate your boxes, change colours, rearrange, hide things etc you can also use editors outside of myspace to customize and comes with free designs.

im not slating klydo, i hope it works out for you

Do a thing, like the myspace layout creators, that when you do it, instead of getting the HTML, get a special code, like LSJDSD29382371 and then it auto registers that into it so the user can then type that code into the site and get the template

Don't say myspace is crap when your not even in their league. Actually I think you will find myspace is one of the best social networks around. Mostly adults sign up to facebook due to the "mature" interface. Myspace however attracts more of the teenage generation due to music and so on. Bebo attracts more bands than most. Don't know about the other SN's but I can assure you.. Klydo will NEVER get as big as one of them 3 I just named due to only 2 people running it. Myspace, bebo, facebook all have offices with 100's of people working for them round the globe, you have 1 in scotland and 1 in america.

Of course klydo will attract people but not hundreds of thousands of users such as most SN's. Sorry if you feel different but it's the truth.

That is your opinion, and your opinion only, so quit pretending it is a fact.

It may be the truth in your head, and you are really starting to get on my nerves :|.

Teenagers sign up to MySpace because it is the most advertised SN site, and the easiest to use (in their opinion), as most, of the users of MySpace do not want to or feel the need to develop applications such as Facebook.

They also don't want to do much work in editing their profile, and just want to meet people.

MySpace started out with two individuals who went to UCLA, Tom and Chris DeWolfel.

They had a relatively small staff network until News Corp bought them.

We have been working for about a month, duh we are not going to have 62 offices and 984654 network staff working.

Quit acting like you know what you are talking about, its getting on everyone's nerves. If you don't want to participate in the discussion with at least some knowledge of the subject, don't.

Your getting on my nerves by thinking your going to be the biggest thing since the earth was made. Fact is you've made a site with a system, your not over the hurdles yet, you said you had 30% done. What if you and greg fall out? Server costs? Advertisment costs? You have the funds to pay for that do you? Ahh but Tom and Chris know a hell of alot more than you and greg. Indeed your a good coder but your starting to get a bit bigheaded, your probably the best on this forum. This forum is nothing to the coding world so pop the bubble contained around your big head.

I have to agree with Bojangles, but not the fact you won't get as succesful.
Just, that these huge networks, have large servers, over America, Europe etc.
You have 2, I doubt even servers. (I may be wrong) I, do think, with more staff, and primary data resources you have a bigger chance of competing.

    Good luck.

Also, YouTube started out as a site where a mate and some friends could upload there videos, now they have been bought by google and are a massive video hosting site.

Now, moving onwards. All of these site have been a sucess by finding a hole in the internet market. EG, MySpace was one of the first SN sites so was YouTube. So IMO you need to find that hole and grab it
