Yes, you can see our edits but you don't know if we have actually given a warning/infraction to the user. Just because we've edited the post does not necessarily mean that they've been punished. You're correct though, people are only punished for excessive pointless/off topic posting and this is always dealt with by a super moderator/administrator.

I'm getting you, on the they've probably not been warned point, it's just that I've never seen so many edits in my life . Do you agree that there's some inconsistency in the cases they're given out, though?

It's because there are so many new moderators! I think there are like twenty at the moment and some of us are still settling in. It happens a lot when lots of new people are hired all at once so I'd assume it will die down soon!

Sounds good to me. Is this policy of putting little red edits on all pointless posts quite new? Because one tip I'd give any of the moderators (I know this sounds a bit rich coming from me: I lasted a week.), but maybe to check for any posts responding to the pointless one, because unless it contributes something constructive, it's just as pointless. I actually reported one earlier today (just because I thought it was a little unfair), and to my delight (my little face lit up.. :S) it got sorted. So the moderators aren't at great fault.

I suppose I should wait until the day I get my first warning.

I might also add that management are currently working on the post reports system which means us moderators aren't receiveing them; we're having to manually check our forums so little things like that may get missed.

You can't just say things like that without proof. He said he's tried and he'll have management to back him up!



He's sent the email numerous times (which I'm sure ---MAD--- checks over) so if he doesn't receive one then it's his own fault. As for PMs, Elkaa didn't make that rule so if you'd like it to be discussed I suggest you contact ---MAD---/sierk.

If you can actually read what i said, i sent in a contact us 4 weeks ago with my own domain, which i never got a reponse to, so i pmed him about 4 times asking him to send to my other account (hotmail one) which he never did and decided to ignore me, so i then sent in the same contact us with the hotmail account as he was ignoring me pm's, then he decided just to ignore my contact us and 2 weeks later hasnt replied to my complaint,pms or contact us.

So i think thats safe to say - he is ignoring me.
