Im sure at the end of the final, it said "Torchwood will return next year". So i would have thought it will be around the same time.
In the Torchwood declassified afterwards, i think it was one of the producers, said they had decided that the Torchwood members would only have a short life upto about 35 because of the nature of the job and how dangerous itis.
