I have never requested any payment and don't plan to.

I know but I enjoyed it. At least I got the Super Rares a better reputation around that time and got the public involved, which was my downfall nevertheless.

A good idea would be to give each department a donation of £2 a month or so, and the department then votes for someone within that department to recieve the money. It would perhaps, motivate people by adding a little bit of a contest?

Personally i'd probably enjoy it more. As long as a Department has a good atmosphere to it (like in Mit/my time we spammed and messed about) then all it good. That is one of the reasons I prefered the Rare Values Department to the Articles Department. The Articles Department was rather 'dead' and the Rare Values Department was buzzing.

Surely if the department started to slip the manager would be taken in for a word and if the department stayed at that level the manager would be fired?
